Yunseo Chung is a 21-year-old South Korean student who has been living in the US since she was 7 years old. Chung is an academically gifted student and was the valedictorian at her high school. Suddenly Chung has gone into hiding from the government Gestapo-style ICE agents who are hunting her down in an unmarked van for exercising her right to free speech by taking part in the campus demonstrations calling for ceasefire and an end to the genocide in Gaza.

Professor Moustafa Bayoumi posted an excellent and lengthy article in defense of Chung on his Facebook page yesterday and posed a rhetorical question, "What kind of country have we become?" He stated that Chung is no student leader and yes, she was one of thousands of students who were calling for a ceasefire and an end to the genocide in Gaza. Even according to the government, she has committed no crime.

Rambo style mentality

According to Bayoumi, the Trump administration has informed her that, with no due process, that her lawful permanent resident status (Green Card) was being "revoked." Now they're attempting to deport her without any due process of law and ICE agents are threatening anyone who help her evade arrest with a crime of harboring fugitives. This is a Rambo style mentality.

Chung is the first undergraduate pro-Palestinian protester is facing deportation. I am happy to say that lawyers at CLEAR, a legal clinic at the City University of New York, are suing the government to stop her deportation. Shamefully, members of the Democratic party in Congress are acting deaf, blind, and mute.

List of Jewish organizations supporting Trump's crackdown and deportation of foreign students

Several pro-Israel groups in the US who act as unregistered foreign agents have come out in support President Donald Trump’s push to expel and deport students for participating in pro-Palestine protests on US campuses. They doxed the students in every protest, took their names, pictures, and tagged the information to President Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio with the demand to expel the students for being antisemitic and anti-American, which is not a crime last time I checked.

I should note here that Trump has promised to deport students who protested last year against Israel’s war on Gaza and who demanded that US universities divest from companies linked to Israel. He does not want other Americans to know his administration's deep involvement in Gaza genocide. That said, here is a list of pro-Israeli groups supporting Trump’s moves against campus protests. Most of the group do not say who their employees are, which is somewhat unusual for a group that receives tax-exempt status in the US of A.

Here is a short list of Jewish groups that support 47’s crackdown & deportation of foreign students for opposing genocide and supporting Palestinians rights for freedom:

* ADL
* Canary Mission
* Betar US
* Mothers Against College Antisemitism (MACA)

All are:
1) 501(c)(3) non-profit that takes tax-deductible donations.
2) Openly support the 🇮🇱i genocide in Gaza.

What has Betar US said on Gaza?

According to recent report by Al Jazeera, "Betar US is a branch of Betar, a Zionist youth movement founded in 1923 by Ze’ev Jabotinsky." The group has openly called for a bloodbath in the besieged and bombarded Gaza Strip, where Israel has resumed its devastating war. In a now-deleted post, Betar US responded to a list of names including hundreds of Palestinian babies killed in the enclave, saying: “Not enough. We demand blood in Gaza!”

Trump bend backward to appease Apartheid Israel?

MSNCB’s Joy Reid said Trump’s vow on his first day in office to carry out the largest deportation operation in the history of the country would inevitably result in people with darker skin pigmentation being expelled." Read suggested Trump could deport naturalized American citizens or legal immigrants when he takes office if they are non-white. That begs the question, why does Trump bend backward to appease Apartheid Israel?

Now, Trump's administration wants the names and nationalities of campus protesters and civil rights attorneys are concerned about what they'll do with that information. The President has made clear his administration would aggressively investigate universities for their handling of antisemitism on campus, saying pro-Palestinian demonstrations infringed on the rights of Jewish students, and the administration canceled $400 million grants and contracts with Columbia University and moved to deport graduate student Mahmoud Khalil for his involvement in a protest there.

Trump is targeting Chung and other people of color on college campus is very obvious and it is to scare people into silence at the expense of freedom of speech. Any claim by the Trump administration that Miss Chung and other pro-Palestinian protesters are antisemitic is a big fat lie. The are falsely labeled with antisemitic or anti-American because they spoke out in defense of Palestinians and against Israel's human rights abuse.
Let's face it, if the pro-Palestinian protesters were antisemitic, why would thousands of Jewish Americans from the groups of Jewish Voice for Peace, Code Pink, and If Not Now risk arrest, their careers, and scholarships by occupying a NYC train station and the US Capitol to demand a ceasefire and an end to the US-Israeli genocide in Gaza?
In Palestine, Israel refers to Palestinians "terrorists," and in the US, Trump and the pro-Israeli groups referred to pro-Palestinian activists as Hamas sympathizers and threats to national security in an effort to delegitimize and discredit them. I call this pure poppycock. This retired veteran stands by Yunseo Chung!
