Lolwah Al-Khater is a prominent Qatari diplomat and the current Minister of Education who is known for her significant contributions to Qatar's foreign relations and education sector. Al- Khater is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Oxford in the area of Oriental Studies. Al-Khater is a female rising star in the Arab world. The name Lolwah translates to "pearl" in Arabic.
The Arab world is witnessing a new wave of young women rising to prominence and shaping the future with their bold vision, creativity, and influence. Lolowah Al-Khater the Qatari diplomat is one among those women.
This woman speaks the truth, a quality that is rare among kings and presidents in the Arab and Muslim world and only those whom God has blessed can utter it. She is truly an honor to all Muslim women. Al-Khater supported the Palestinian cause through the media and showed the world that the Palestinian issue is the most important issue in the world. May God reward her immensely.
A hand salute of respect and admiration to the Minister of Education Lolwah Al-Khater for her sincere national sentiment and for her courage in speaking the truth at a time when the entire world remained silent.
May God this bless the free and courageous minister who understands the concerns of her nation. And may God bless the great nation of Qatar which stands with our people in Palestine with unwavering support. Lolwah Al-Khater was the first to enter Gaza with aid and the first to visit injured Palestinians in Egyptian hospitals and provide them with aid and comfort. Al-Khater supported Gaza with words and deeds. May God be pleased with her.
She was also the first and only Arab official to eulogize Abu Obaida, the military spokesman for Al-Qassam Brigade.
After the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) called on the Palestinian people and the Arab and Islamic nations to perform the funeral prayer in absentia for the souls of its martyred leaders after Friday prayers in all mosques in Palestine and Islamic centers around the world. Shamefully, the Jordanian Ministry of Endowments banned the performance of funeral prayers in absentia for Abu Obeida and the 4 resistance leaders (Muhammad Sinwar, Muhammad Shabana, Raed Saad, and Hakam Al-Issa.) and issued an order to all mosques' imams prohibiting the mention of their names in Friday sermons.
Residents in the northwestern Syrian city of Idlib gathered on Friday to perform the “Salat al-Gha’ib”, or funeral prayer for the absent, for Abu Obaida and the other four resistance leaders.
On May 8, 2024, Al-Khater addressed the 15th Doha Conference on Interfaith Dialogue where she stated, "How can someone who rejects the Holocaust and the Apartheid in South Africa accept the Israeli genocide in Gaza?"
Then she reminded the conference attendees not to forget the dilemma of the people of Sudan and to provide them support in any way they can.
Lulwa Al-Khater: How can someone who rejects the Holocaust the apartheid in South Africa accepts accept the genocide of Palestinian in Gaza? Also, I remind you of the people of Sudan that the world forgets their tragedy, to remember them in your prayers, and to support them anyway you can.
A hand salute and admiration to the Minister Lolwah Al-Khater for her sincere national sentiment and for her courage in speaking the truth to power at a time when the entire world remained silent.
