“We’ll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false.”- William Casey, Ronald Reagan’s first CIA Director (from Casey’s first staff meeting, 1981)
An internet troll isa person who starts quarrels or tries to upset people on the internet to distract and sow discord by posting inflammatory and digressive, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the intent of provoking readers into displaying emotional responses and normalizing tangential discussion, whether for the troll's amusement or a specific gain. Sociopathic corporations use the technique to manipulate public opinion.
A disinformation agent publishes or otherwise provides false information that is intended to mislead. Disinformation is called propaganda when issued by government organizations, and it is called advertising when issued by corporations.
Big Pharma and Big Vaccine corporations have used disinformation agents since those industries were started. They are called pharmacy sales representatives (aka drug reps) and, as a physician, I have been disinformed by them a thousand times over my career when they were trying to get me to prescribe their over-priced and dangerous products to my patients. And now, since the US Congress made it legal for pharmaceutical corporations to market their products directly to consumers (direct-to-consumer advertising), their over-priced and dangerous products are essentially sold to patients.
But Big Vaccine companies, in their devious efforts to deter activists whose children have been sickened or killed by vaccines also hire internet trolls that cunningly infiltrate websites and chat rooms to cripple the efforts of the activists to spread “unwelcome truths” about vaccines. Two common tactics are ad hominem attacks. And the derogatory label “anti-vaxxers” when the reality is that vaccine critics are actually “anti-over-vaccination” activists.
Both types of dis-informers or disrupters have serious, undisclosed conflicts of interest with deep-pocketed vaccine corporations whose sinister goals for their trolls are to silence, confuse or disillusion online discussants who might start questioning the provably-false claims that their Big Vaccine overlords make when they say: “All vaccines are safe and effective”.
Anti-over-vaccination blog-participants whose efforts are unknowingly impaired by undetected trolls on their site are far less likely to create problems for vaccine manufacturers and they are also far less likely to hassle the physicians or clinics that were responsible for the vaccine-induced deaths, disorders or disabilities of their children. (The major issue concerning the medical part of the issue of vaccine dangers is that physicians and clinics largely fail to fulfill their Hippocratic Oath obligation to parents by giving them adequate information about the toxins in the vaccines, the risks of serious consequences or the slim chance that the CDC’s over-vaccination agendas are even necessary.
Of course, non-vaccine industry internet trolls are commonly utilized (but often not recognized) in a large variety of nefarious corporate or government operations. Eventually many of them are “outed, but they do a lot of damage to altruistic causes before they are recognized.
Hopefully this essay will be helpful to truth-seeking activists everywhere who are trying to organize their efforts in opposition to the large variety of nefarious operations involving sociopathic entities inside Big Business, Big Pharma, Big Vaccine, Big Banks, Big Mining and Big Media, as those industries regularly use amoral tactics that include both black-listing and disinforming the population about important issues.
Those black-listed issues or those that are subjected to media dis-informational tactics are being used against those of us who are anti-copper mining activists, anti-Big Pharma activists, anti-over-vaccination activists, pro-environment activists, climate change activists, geo-engineering activists, anti-fascist activists, anti-war activists, anti-militarism activists, anti-corporatism activists, anti-racism activists, anti-poverty activists , anti-pollution activists, anti-over-population activists, 911Truth activists, and any activists that question the biggest dis-informational agents on earth, the CORPORATIONS and their secret deep-state partners in the government such as the CIA, Pentagon, weapons industries, etc)
Last week’s “Local View” column that purported to criticize my anti-over-vaccination columns was authored by somebody who did not reveal any of his academic, science or medical credentials that would have given him the authority or knowledge to rebut a single one of the many documented anti-over-vaccination articles that I have written over the past few years in my weekly Duty to Warn columns. But the writer did exhibit a lot of naïve confidence in the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), that, along with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are sometimes justifiably referred to as “Wholly-Owned Subsidiaries of Big Pharma”. A lot of the money and influence in both those federal agencies comes from massive economic and political involvement from Big Pharma. Neither agency can be trusted when they make pronouncements about drugs or vaccines.
Check out these websites for documentation on the CDC as a “disinformation agency”:
Big Pharma and the CDC Can't be Trusted When It Comes to Vaccines
https://www.globalresearch.ca/big-pharma-and-the-cdc-cant-be-trusted
Besides naively trusting the CDC, the author of last week’s “Local View” article extensively quoted an infamous and very arrogant internet troll named Robert Gorski, whose reputation and tactics are widely discredited among knowledgeable, unbiased scientists and physicians. Here is just one example of many exposing Gorski as a dis-info agent and internet troll:
Two of the Most Deviant and Abusive Internet Trolls are Practicing US Doctors – Both Aliases Now Exposed!
(According to www.Truthlibrary.info, their names are Dr Paul Offit [alias “Skeptical Raptor”] and Dr David Gorski [alias “Orac”, publishing with the pseudonym of “Respectful Insolence”)]
By TruthLibrary Administration- November 26, 2017
Here is one self-discrediting quote from Dr Offit that exposes him as unreliable:
“A healthy infant could safely get up to 100,000 vaccines at once." – Pediatrician, Merck consultant and multimillionaire internet troll Paul Offit.
The website goes on to say: “Offit is a prime example of a corporate disinformation agent who is in the employ of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (from an article he authored in a 2005 Babytalk magazine). Comment: By anyone's standard this is a sensational and stupid statement that has no basis in fact and speaks volumes about Offit's objectivity.
“Offit is also a consultant to Big Pharma vaccine-maker Merck & Co and is the patent holder on a Rotavirus vaccine. He has built a career and a fortune defending vaccines. He is also affiliated with several industry-funded organizations like Parents of Kids with Infectious Diseases (PKIDs) and Every Child by Two (ECBT), both pro-over-vaccination internet organizations. In short, the internet troll Dr Offit is a highly visible, highly-paid public relations machine for the vaccine industry.
“Offit is a dominating moderator on Wikipedia and describes himself as a pharma shill (which means you’re paid to lie).
“He says it is safe to eat the potentially toxic flavor enhancer monosodium glutamate (MSG) and high fructose corn syrup (HFCS), and that “health nuts” are going way overboard worrying about them. He also promotes Monsanto’s deadly pesticides, making a fool of himself and leaving a trail of nonsense strewn across the internet.
“One of Offit’s heroes is Dr. Maurice Hilleman, a renowned Merck vaccine scientist who admitted to major fraud in the field of vaccine research. Vaccine developer Dr. Hilleman mentored Offit at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Hilleman has gone on record (decades ago) admitting the presence of SV40 (cancer as leukemia) and AIDS viruses in vaccines that were administered to millions of Americans.”
And now to Dr Offit’s internet troll=buddy Dr David Gorski, who was quoted lavishly in last week Local View article.
Below is Dr Gorski’s recipe for internet trolling. Thee formula needs to be understood by every progressive activist whose websites have likely been infiltrated by trolls:
“Go in there and “agree with them” and then say things that appear thoroughly delusional, overtly nuts, blatantly and obviously wrong even to nincompoops, etc. Occasional spelling and grammar errors are also useful but don’t over-do. The point of this exercise is to create an impression that drives away undecideds who may come in to check out these sites. It helps to do this as a group effort and begin gradually, so the sites appear to be “going downhill slowly.”– David Gorski, one of many well-hidden Big Pharma shills who specialize in trolling “safe vaccine” websites of distressed or angry parents whose children have been unequivocally injured or killed by vaccines.
“The way to do it is to first set up a fictitious email address. Speaking from experience working on research on extremist groups…Create a totally fictitious name and then an address that reflects that name e.g. John Doe and JDoe1234@.Second, get an address on a free service provider such as Yahoo or Hotmail or whatever. Since most of these ask for your “other” email address as proof of identity, give them the one on your broadband provider. They will send a confirmation email to that address giving you your starting password. Third, after about a week of using your new fictitious address in various places that let you sign up for comments, you can be sure it’s working, so then go in and delete the address you created on your broadband service. Typically they deactivate the address immediately and then take a month to free up that slot for re-use. This step ensures that your Yahoo or Hotmail address becomes un-traceable back to your broadband provider. Forth, wait a month for the original fictitious name to completely purge from your broadband provider. Fifth: Now you’re home free to get onto the anti-vax boards and any other objectionable boards you want to go after and make all manner of noise to make them look ridiculous and drive away the undecideds. Yeee-hawww, round ‘em up!”– David Gorski, infamous pro-vaccine disinformation agent and surgeon who is on the faculty of Wayne State University. His two pseudonyms are “Orac” and“Respectful Insolence”). Gorski publishes on a blogsite that he has deceptively named “Science-Based Medicine”. ‘
The below quotes come from: Http://Www.Truthlibrary.Info/Articles/Trash/Dr-David-Gorski-A-Pro-Vaccine-Troll-And-Paid-Pharma-Shill/)
“So, what exactly does Gorski have to gain from discrediting the so-called anti-vaxxer movement?
“Well, we have a few ideas. As Natural News reported, Gorski’s employer, Wayne State University, has a lot to gain from an amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) drug called riluzole that could be used to treat autism, according to epidemiologist Jake Crosby, who also said Gorski is experimenting with that same drug to treat breast cancer.
“In his Wayne State laboratory, Gorski focuses on the research and development of prescription drugs. However, he’s working not to create new medications, but rather new uses for existing drugs, a process far more lucrative than creating new drugs from scratch.
“The potentially profitable drug Gorski is in the process of conducting a clinical trial for is the ALS drug Riluzole…. Amplifying the conflict further is that the same drug is also being studied for the treatment of autism,” wrote Crosby.”
(Addendum by Gary G. Kohls, MD: The newly-generic anti-ALS reluzole is being investigated by Apotex Corp., Glemark Generics and Sun Pharmaceuticals). The drug was approved by the FDA in 1995 to theoretically slow the progress of ALS, not to cure it. Thee is not much indication that ALS patients are helped very much by it. It is also important to note that some forms of transverse myelitis can be actually caused by the neurotoxins that are commonly found in vaccines.
The name brand form of reluzole, Rilutek, is still being sold by Sanofi-Aventis, which has many vaccines in its stable of products. Reluzole is now a generic drug that is being investigated as a possible treatment for autism, but no pharmaceutical company wants any disorder to be recognized as having a preventable, iatrogenic root cause (due to the neurotoxic ingredients in most vaccines, including mercury, aluminum or live viruses), which would have made the drug totally unnecessary if it hadn’t been for the vaccine in the first place. Definitions to Help Understand Internet Trolls and Other Disinformation Agents
Misinformation: False or inaccurate information.
Disinformation:False information that is intended to mislead, especially propaganda issued by a government organization or a corporate advertiser.
Troll:A supernatural creature of Scandinavian folklore, whose ancestors were thought to have carried massive stones into the countryside (although actually the result of glaciers). Living in hills, mountains, caves, or under bridges, they are stupid, large, brutish, hairy, long-nosed, and bug-eyed, and may also have multiple heads or horns. Trolls love to eat people, especially small children.
Internet troll:A person, usually operating under a pseudonym, who posts deliberately provocative messages to a newsgroup or message board with the intention of provoking maximum disruption and argument. They are often paid by nefarious sources but sometime are motivated to do so for their own amusement. They often try to provoke dissension and doubt by writing dis-informational letters to the editors of newspapers.
Another good definition of an internet troll:A person who purposely and deliberately starts an online or media argument in a manner which attacks others on a forum without in any way listening to the arguments proposed by other commenters. He will often use ad hominem attacks.
Internet shill:Someone who promotes something or someone online for pay without divulging that they are associated with the entity they shill for. Shills promote companies, products, public figures and viewpoints for profit, while pretending to have no motivation for doing so other than personal belief. Alternatively, they sometimes denigrate someone or something, such as a political viewpoint or a competitor’s product, that is in conflict with the entity they serve. Shill jobs are tele-commute positions or are conducted from temporary offices which are frequently moved to avoid detection.
Conspiracy theory: An explanatory proposition that accuses two or more people, a group, or an organization of having caused or covered up, through deliberate collusion, an event or phenomenon of great social, political, or economic impact. Such conspiracy theories are frequently proven to be truthful when the bullying disinformation campaigns that try to silence them are revealed as false, misleading, impossible and/or unscientific.
False flag operation: A covert operation that is designed to deceive in such a way that the operation appears as though it is being carried out by entities other than those who actually planned and executed them. Usually there is an ulterior motive, such as starting a war or invasion under false pretenses and blaming the war on some other entity, such as the victim of the false flag op.
Propaganda:Information of a biased or misleading nature and used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view. Corporations call it advertising.Referring to secrecy or concealment, especially for purposes of subversion or deception.
Hate group:A group whose members have beliefs or practices that attack or malign an entire class of people. They all have websites. (A few examples from the courageous Southern Poverty Law Center are at: (https://www.splcenter.org/hate-map: Ku Klux Klan, White Nationalist, Racist Skinhead, Christian Identity, Neo-Confederate, Holocaust Denial groups, Anti-LGBT groups, Anti-Immigrant groups, Anti-Muslim groups, etc.
How Disinformation Agents Spread Their Webs of Deception
(Information obtained from: http://www.wanttoknow.info/g/disinformation-agents)
It is quite easy for a disinformation agent to spin a rich disinformation tale and then craft several different versions of the tale with new ‘facts’ to support the story in each one. These tales are usually a good mix of verifiable facts and cleverly designed lies, so that people who check the ‘facts’ tend to believe the lies that are mixed in.
The disinformation agent has only to feed these versions of his tale to several of the many conspiracy-oriented websites out there, and it’s all over the Internet – but not on reliable websites. These same disinformation agents will use pseudonyms to join in on the discussions generated by their “news” so that they can manipulate the direction that comments take.
Below are excerpts from a short article that was published on the Global Research website on January 22, 2013:
“It is quite easy for a disinformation agent to spin a rich disinformation tale and then craft several different versions of the tale with new ‘facts’ to support the story in each one. These tales are usually a good mix of verifiable facts and cleverly designed lies, so that people who check the ‘facts’ tend to believe the lies that are mixed in.”-- from: http://www.wanttoknow.info/g/disinformation-agents
“It wasn’t very many years after the world-wide web became operational that it was contaminated by secret disinformation agencies and also by individuals that were eventually called “internet trolls”. Trolls began interjecting themselves – uninvited and unwanted – into otherwise useful and productive conversations involving web-groups of like-minded individuals.
“These trolls, intent on scurrilously confusing various website commenters, seemed to delight in angering up certain online groups. Typically, a lot of time and effort was wasted in such fake arguments before members of the group finally realized that they had been ambushed by a disinformation agent.
“Many folks might recall how promising were the prospects for the internet’s new method of communication that was affordable, quick and paperless. Many envisioned an internet that was “without commercial interruptions” and a way to promote healthy interactions between well-meaning people of different races, religions, politics, commitments, lifestyles and cultures.
“Progressive-thinking folks without ulterior motives saw the internet as a new way to explore and solve some of the common threats to them or the planet. Peacemakers saw the internet as a tool that could expose the ideological enemies of the exploited 99% and perhaps even unite against the predatory elites in the ruling 1%. Some saw opportunities to expose and then eliminate fascism, racism, militarism, corporatism, bigotry, pollution, over-population and income inequality (and, more recently, global climate change) and to foster understanding and cooperation between various cultures.”
Tragically, before you could say “corrupt crony capitalism”, the web was dominated – and then essentially owned – by profiteering corporations that saw world peace and cooperation as a threat to their greedy profiteering goals. (Peace is never as profitable as war or the rumors or war.)
In the viewpoint of amoral corporations, the internet was seen as just another way to market their products to otherwise inaccessible consumers, even if their infernal advertisements were uninvited and unwanted by most internet users.
But, while Big Business and the investor classes took over the internet, the web also became a recruitment tool for assorted hate groups like white supremacists, religious bigots, racists and neo-fascist talk show hosts who all developed a following and websites that allowed them to spew their hate, bigotry and disinformation much more efficiently.
Why and How Propaganda Works
The internet, like so much of what passes for technological advancement in our commercialized society, has, predictably, become a force for ill, not unlike how Joseph Goebbels and the Nazi Party used the universally-accessible and very affordable radio to spew their right-wing hate propaganda in the 1930s and 40s (after first smashing the labor unions and the liberal media’s printing presses, of course).
But the ruling elites who own the trans-national mega-corporations also own our legislative bodies and our mainstream media. Many of these mega-corporations can be seen pig-feeding at the trough of more than one government bureaucratic agency that are busily granting no-bid contracts behind closed doors.
These inherently sociopathic multinational corporation are always searching for ways to weaken labor unions, own more media outlets, obtain more de-regulation from “their” legislators, exploit/pollute every square inch of the already polluted planet and achieve unlimited (and unsustainable) stock price growth. These billionaire elites are encouraged by their greedy stakeholders to plunge head-long into the soul-destroying muck of the dog-eat-dog-world that exists in both business and politics. The muck has become increasingly putrid ever since the democracy-destroying Citizen’s United Supreme Court decision of 2011 legalized the anonymous bribery of political candidates and made the fiction of corporate personhood the law of the land.
On 9/11/01, as just one example of Deep State corruption and disinformation from the mainstream media, many journalists and alert citizens saw with their own eyes that the three WTC towers had obviously been suddenly and unexpectedly brought down by controlled demolitions. Their suspicions were affirmed by the multitude of video and science-based evidence that abounds online. (Start your own edification by listening to the real experts who know the real science of controlled demolitions by clicking on: http://www.ae911truth.org/.)
If You See Something, Say Something (Unless you’re Seeing a False Flag Op)
We American citizens have been advised by our government to “say something if we see something”, so those patriots who loved their country enough to have a lover’s quarrel with it, kept pointing out the improbability – indeed impossibility – of the Bush White House’s conspiracy theory (that a group of Saudi Arabian nationals conspired to fly two jets into two buildings, causing office fires that rapidly burned down three concrete, massively steel-reinforced, non-flammable high-rise towers, with each of the three buildings successively collapsing into fine powder in less than 10 seconds). Unbelievable, but still deniable by every mainstream media outlet, including every paper from the New York Times to the Duluth News-Tribune, despite the fact that half the American population believes the 911 Truth groups.
Bush failed in trying to silence those patriotic observers from speaking out by holding a very unconvincing press conference denigrating those who espoused “outlandish conspiracy theories”. However, the mainstream media (including the aforementioned New York Times, which falsely claims to publish “all the news that’s fit to print”) got thoroughly on board with the cover-up. Sadly, since then, anybody who didn’t see what really happened on that day has been effectively indoctrinated to believe whatever the major media dis-informs them about, and that includes most of the millennials who were either unaware, unborn or immature at the time of the deed!
Tragically, most of the distracted, deceived or too busy Americans succumbed to the totally blacked-out propaganda efforts and their in-bred need to be obedient to authority figures. Thus, most Americans were led to believe the deniers of the truth rather than the powerful evidence of another Deep State conspiracy.
One of the reasons that I am addressing this topic in this column is the fact that recently there have been a number of examples of disinformation in my local media about real conspiracies about which I have enough expertise to disprove the claims that were made.
A recent letter to the editor in my local newspaper regurgitated the disproven “conventional wisdom” that live virus, mercury-containing or aluminum-containing vaccines are all safe and effective, that they never cause neurological damage or death to infants and that the infamously-smeared British gastroenterologist Andrew Wakefield’s research on autism and vaccines was a fraud.
(For those uninformed or misinformed about the Big Pharma-manufactured Wakefield pseudo-controversy: In 1998, the once-prestigious British Lancet medical journal published Dr Wakefield’s ground-breaking research that proved the connection between (the British pharmaceutical company) GlaxoSmithKline’s live measles virus-containing MMR vaccine and a disabling measles virus-caused inflammatory enterocolitis disorder in a group of severely-regressed autistic kids (each of whom had been developing normally until being injected with the scheduled MMR vaccine). The validity of the study, incidentally, has been replicated by other researchers, but the pharmaceutical firm Glaxo cunningly executed a massive disinformation campaign that resulted in the complicit British Medical Association stripping Wakefield of his license to practice medicine!) For documentation of the Wakefield smear campaign, go to a series of videos, starting with this one:
Another recent article in my local newspaper falsely claimed that the persistent aerosolized spray that is commonly seen coming from large, non-commercial/military jets are simply “contrails” that making hazy the previously cloudless blue skies that the weatherman had forecast the night before. (“Contrails”, incidentally, are an abbreviation of “condensation trails” that represent frozen water vapor from jet engine exhaust. However, frozen water vapor from a jet engine is only capable of freezing fleetingly and only at extremely cold temperatures at extremely high altitudes [>25,000 feet altitude], and even then the ice crystals evaporate into invisibility quite rapidly.) The proven fact of the matter is that any jet plane trail that lasts longer than a few seconds has to be an aerosolized “chemical trail” (aka chemtrail) that has been proven to contain nanoparticles of reflective metals such as aluminum, barium or strontium. These metals are sprayed, as part of secret government/military weather modification or solar radiation management experiments, and these fine particles are able to persist in the air, theoretically potentially cooling the earth slightly by reflecting the sun’s rays upward (click on www.geoengineeringwatch.org for the documentation of those claims and much more).
CIA Document 1035-960 and Conspiracy Theory: the Foundation of a Weaponized Term
https://memoryholeblog.com/2013/01/20/cia-document-1035-960-foundation-of-a-weaponized-term/
‘Conspiracy theory’ is a term that strikes fear and anxiety in the hearts of most every public figure, particularly journalists and academics. Since the 1960s the label has become a disciplinary device that has been overwhelmingly effective in defining certain events as off limits to inquiry or debate. Especially in the United States, raising legitimate questions about dubious official narratives destined to inform public opinion (and thereby public policy) is a major thought crime that must be cauterized from the public psyche at all costs.
…it was the Central Intelligence Agency that likely played the greatest role in effectively ‘weaponizing’ the term. In the groundswell of public skepticism about the Warren Commission’s findings on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, the CIA sent a detailed directive to all of its bureaus, titled ‘Countering Criticism of the Warren Commission Report’.
The dispatch played a definitive role in making the ‘conspiracy theory’ term a weapon to be wielded against almost any individual or group calling the government’s increasingly clandestine programs and activities into question.
“This important memorandum and its broad implications for American politics and public discourse are detailed in a forthcoming book by Florida State University political scientist Lance deHaven-Smith, titled Conspiracy Theory in America. Dr. deHaven-Smith devised the State Crimes Against Democracy (SCAD) concept to interpret and explain potential government complicity in events such as the Gulf of Tonkin incident, the major political assassinations of the 1960s, and 9/11.
The agency was especially interested in maintaining the CIA’s own image and role as it “contributed information to the [Warren] investigation.
The memorandum lays out a detailed series of actions and techniques for ‘countering and discrediting the claims of the so-called conspiracy theorists, so as to inhibit the circulation of such claims in other countries’.
The agency also directed its members ‘[t]o employ propaganda assets to [negate] and refute the attacks of the critics. Book reviews and feature articles are particularly appropriate for this purpose’.
CIA Document 1035-960 further delineates specific techniques for countering ‘conspiratorial’ arguments centering on the Warren Commission’s findings. Such responses and their coupling with the pejorative label have been routinely wheeled out to this day in various guises by corporate media outlets, commentators and political leaders against those demanding truth and accountability about momentous public events.
Today, more so than ever, news media personalities and commentators occupy powerful positions for initiating propaganda activities closely resembling those set out in 1035-960 against anyone who might question state-sanctioned narratives of controversial and poorly understood occurrences.
…the almost uniform public acceptance of official accounts concerning unresolved events such as the Oklahoma City Murrah Federal Building bombing, 9/11, and most recently the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre, is largely guaranteed.
The effect on academic and journalistic inquiry into ambiguous and unexplained events that may in turn mobilize public inquiry, debate and action has been dramatic and far-reaching. One need only look to the rising police state and evisceration of civil liberties and constitutional protections as evidence of how this set of subtle and deceptive intimidation tactics has profoundly encumbered the potential for future independent self-determination and civic empowerment.
