The American Empire is solidly behind both military conflicts on this planet, either of which could end in nuclear war. On June 12, 2025, World War Three began when Trump allowed Israel to attack Iran. Iran retaliated the following day. There is no end in site for this conflict, it is escalating as I write. The arrogant American government, while clearly supporting both Ukraine and Israel, is asking Iran not to strike American assets in the region, as if the Empire is neutral. When Iran does strike American assets, there is a very real possibility that Israel will view that as a permission slip allowing it to attack Iran with nuclear weapons.
Biden's focus as President was to quickly close down the failed 19 year military adventure in Afghanistan in order to challenge Russia via Ukraine instead. His administration's pivot required insisting that Ukraine become a NATO member. This had been a Russian red line, since NATO is a military alliance. Membership would allow the Empire to build military bases in Ukraine on Russia's border, and facilitate the goal of regime change in Russia. This is why Boris Johnson was dispatched to Istanbul on April 9, 2022 to end the peace talks between the two countries, thus provoking yet another proxy war in the Empire's never ending quest for global domination.
Recall that Wesley Clark, a former NATO commander, claimed that after the 9/11 attacks, the Bush administration had a plan to attack seven majority-Muslim countries over five years, starting with Iraq and followed by Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Iran, Somalia, and Sudan. Iran was the only country not yet attacked, until this week.
Concurrent to the proxy war against Russia, genocide Joe Biden supported Israel's genocide of the Palestinians with unlimited weapons shipments and direct military support. The remaining Palestinians in Gaza are now as good as dead.
Donald Trump, the new American King, promised to end both conflicts but has been ineffective. There are specific reasons for his pathetic performance, but the overall reason is that he hires incompetent unqualified people and he lacks a consistent coherent strategy. The King himself has undermined his chosen negotiator, Steve Witcoff at different times in both conflicts. While Witkoff is supposed to negotiate an end to both, the King hired war hawk Marco Rubio as Secretary of State, among the many neocons in his cabinet who are making Witkoff's job impossible. Iran evidently believed that America was sincere in the efforts to negotiate, as they were clearly surprised by this weeks attack. Witkoff is likely to resign, as he has no real backing in Washington. The neocons have marginalized him.
Experts (listed below) agree that Russia has won the war for several reasons. First, Ukraine cannot replace it's lost troops, while Russia has an enormous manpower advantage. Secondly, Ukraine cannot manufacture it's needed military equipment and is dependent on others to feed their military. Although the Trump threatened to cut off the supply of war materials, he has been unable to defeat the Military Industrial Complex, which continues the war while the King plays golf at Mar-A-Logo. Russia, having defeated the West, wants Ukraine to be neutral, something the King has conceded. But war hawks in his administration and in Europe refuse to allow him to end the war.
Recently, the Empire supported Ukraine's surprise attack on Russia's nuclear facilities, in clear violation of the Start Treaty (2011), which requires nuclear capable aircraft to be kept in the open by both countries, rather than hidden. In response both countries have increased their nuclear readiness.
However, Russia is the lesser of the two threats. Jeffrey Epstein's years of collecting compromising video's of America's political elite on behalf of Israel very likely included images of Trump. As a result of this and/or the power of the Israel lobby (AIPAC), Israel Prime Minister Netanyahu appears to control the US government. The weapons flowing to Israel continue. After Israel began World War III with complete support of the American Empire, Iran responded with the greatest attack on Israel since 1945. Israel can be expected to retaliate. Game on.
King Trump himself admitted support for this attack in his Truth Social post of June 13*, which reads “We remain committed to a Diplomatic Resolution to the Iran Nuclear Issue! My entire Administration has been directed to negotiate with Iran. They could be a Great Country, but they first must completely give up hopes of obtaining a Nuclear Weapon. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
Israel, not Iran, has nuclear weapons and certainly the most likely military on the planet to use them, since they may calculate that a nuclear attack of Iran could possibly be done without nuclear retaliation. The only nuclear armed country that could come to Iran's aid is Vladimir Putin's Russia, although Pakistan has threatened to respond to a nuclear attack on Iran.
Meanwhile, American citizens at home are busy trying to protect their friends and neighbors from America's gestapo (Immigration and Customs Enforcement, ICE). If the Federal government can tone down the goal of removing 5 million people, this fascist government is expected to attack social security next, which should bring an entirely different group of citizens into the streets in a new round of protests. Thus, self inflicted chaos at home allows the neocons inside the war machine to walk us into disaster.
As the American Empire collapses, it will behave like a cornered animal. The American foreign policy has always been to conquer or control one enemy, then find another enemy. The chances of a leader of the Empire beginning a nuclear war is increased because the Empire's King Trump is confused, demented and mentally ill. Other people are controlling the nations response, which has been consistent since 1945. I have written before that Iran and China were next on the enemies list.
The population of the entire world is at risk, since the military stated procedure is “mutually assured destruction”. In the event of nuclear war the plan is complete destruction by using all weapons available so that they cannot be destroyed by the enemy. A nuclear exchange between Russia and the American Empire would in itself destroy the northern hemisphere over time. The American Empire also includes China in it's list of self made enemies for reasons that are beyond baffling. This it is likely that the Empire would try to destroy both countries as it commits suicide of itself.
I conclude that the American Empire is much more likely to commit nuclear suicide than it is to create the conditions for peace. The Empire does not know how to create peace, there are no experts in that field. America is about war, and then more war. That is why every person in the world need to recognize the threat, although all the human beings on the planet are unlikely to stop the war machine.
