Canada has launched a criminal investigation into Israeli-Canadian IDF veterans for possible war crimes and crimes against humanity during the Gaza conflict according to report by ynetnews.com last June. The story said, "The RCMP began the investigation in early 2024 and confirmed it in June 2025.
"The probe targets Canadian citizens with dual Israeli-Canadian citizenship who served in the IDF as well as lone soldiers and Israeli citizens residing in Canada who traveled to Israel to enlist." The RCMP described the investigation as a "structural investigation" under Canada's Crimes Against Humanity and War Crimes Program, which aims to prevent Canada from becoming a haven for individuals accused of committing atrocities abroad. The investigation has caused concern and controversy within Canada's Jewish and Israeli communities, with many fearing a wave of arrests or summons.
On October 20, 2025, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said he would honor the International Criminal Court’s arrest warrant for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and have him arrested. However, the US government does not recognize the International Criminal Court (ICC) and it will enforce the arrest warrant on Netanyahu, his former war minister, and/or any IDF soldiers who took part in the genocide. I reckon the Trump administration does not consider murdering Muslim men, women, and children as a war crime. However, the newly-elected mayor of NYC Zohran Mamdani thinks otherwise and he promised to arrest Netanyahu upon landing in his city.
The Canadian government missed an opportunity for not arresting Prince Harry during this month in Toronto to observe Remembrance, which honors the sacrifices the Canadian military personnel made in war past and present.
Prince Harry served as an Apache helicopter pilot in Afghanistan himself and confessed in his memoir Spare to killing 25 men, women, and children in Afghanistan. He should be tried for war crimes. Given the fact that the US and NATO's war in Afghanistan was totally illegal and destroyed the lives of millions of innocent people. How come there's no call from mainstream media and politicians to have this despicable individual tried for war crimes or confessing of committing atrocities?
The Duke of Sussex wrote that he killed 25 "so-called suspected Taliban insurgents" during his two tours of Afghanistan. According to reports from the leaked manuscript, he said he was neither “satisfied” or “embarrassed” by the fact. “In truth, you can’t hurt people if you see them as people,” Harry said. “They were chess pieces taken off the board."
Facts: This could easily be challenged because the Apache helicopter pilot has a camera in the cockpit. The helicopter is equipped with noise-mounted sensors that help acquire targets and provide night vision capabilities. These sensors allow the pilot to effectively see and track targets during operations so investigators could view the video in the helicopter during that time.

Lee Brown of the New York post wrote in June 2023 that Col. Richard Kemp, who took command of British forces in Afghanistan in 2003, criticized Harry for suggesting that "the UK military saw its enemies as less than human." Coln. Keep further added, “This will incite some people to attempt an attack on British soldiers anywhere in the world,” he warned, saying that veterans would also be at risk."
There is no statute of limitation on war crimes like murder and genocide. Meaning that individuals can be prosecuted for these crimes at any time, regardless of how long ago they were committed or by whom it was carried out. Justice delayed is justice denied.
