Donald Trump’s 27-year-old press secretary Karoline Leavitt announced the US was halting shipments of condoms to Gaza during her first new look White House briefing. Miss Leavitt briefed reporters that the US was halting shipment of condoms to Gaza.
What a bizarre story! It's so ridiculous, it almost sounds like it was made up to distract from the US-Israeli war crimes committed in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon. This lady is worse than Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Kayleigh McEnany who were no truth tellers.
First of all, they don't use birth control in Gaza and as a result, the population went from 1 million to 2.2 million in the last 20 years.
Secondly, Israel has banned condoms from Gaza since 2018, and if you thought the Israelis were scared of the demographic time bomb, think again. According to the Israeli regulations, Israel banned condoms from entering the Gaza Strip because Palestinians were relentlessly flying a variety of airborne devices attached to flammable materials to be launched into Israel near the border with Gaza, causing hundreds of fires and millions of shekels in damage six years ago.
Given their limited resources, Palestinians relied on such an innovative way to retaliate Israeli airstrikes and IOF snipers fire that killed hundreds of Palestinians and injured 14,700 including women, children, medics, and journalists in Gaza during the Great Return March on Palestinian land on March 30, 2018.
To begin with, why would the Trump administration or even the Biden administration who supported the genocide in Gaza from day one would violate the Israel ban on condoms? If both Biden and Trump administrations sanctioned the ICC arrest warrant against Netanyahu and former war minister Yoav Gallant, why would they violate the Israeli ban against condoms? It does not make sense it is a lie that someone made up. That had to come from some office or persons! I wish Miss Karoline would give names or staffs who put this forward. Perhaps Miss Karoline has repeated lies from her boss. That is still lying.
Moving forward, the job of a Press Secretary requires lying. I would like to know, why would the US sent $50 million dollars' worth of condoms to a place that can't seem to get access to food or medicine? Perhaps one of the reporters will ask the "blonde Republican sex kitten" next press briefing the same question.
I did some research about condoms and found out that the average wholesale price of a condom in the US is about twenty-five cents. Aside from that, at wholesale prices, it would be 200,000,000 condoms. The number of adult males is fewer than 800,000. That's 250 condoms each.
This is the same government that at one time paid $800 for a hammer and $1,500 for a toilet seat. Last year they gave Pakistan $15 million to conduct a gender study. Can’t wait to see what DOGE Czar Elon Musk uncovers.
During the last four years, President Trump took in 240 million from his supporters for "Stop the Steal" voter fraud investigations. He spent less that 20 million (found no fraud btw) and pocketed the rest. What happened to that money? I guess the MAGA clans got fleeced again. Another reasonable question to ask Miss Leavitt during the next press briefing.
The US government spends billions of dollars to Israel to conduct a US funded proxy genocide in Gaza, killing over 16,000 children and babies. Now Trump is (or already has) sending 2,000-pound bombs to Israel to kill more innocent children and babies, but he is now stopping the funding for condoms for Gaza. This idea that the money went into the pockets of Hamas instead is ridiculous given that the money sent for bombs and other weapons clearly got into the hands of Netanyahu and the Israeli Death Forces (IDF). So first they are OK with killing children and babies en masse, but now they can't have condoms. Make this make sense!
True American patriots do not support genocide or back Trump's policies in Gaza or Lebanon.
Donald Trump's foreign policies go against the American people's desire, not to “fund or fight foreign wars.”
Nobody with a mind actually believes this laughable propaganda by the White House "Barbie doll."
How in God's green Earth can you believe this is true? Condoms may have been a small part of medical assistance but there were most definitely NOT $50 million of them. Critical thinking and logic need to be applied.
Finally, if Trump's glamorous new press secretary and most trusted confidant wants to bear false witness, she should at least tuck her cross when she stepped on the podium in the White House Briefing Room next time. A true Christian is not supposed to lie. Doesn't the Holy Bible say, "Thou shalt not bear false witness (another word for lie)?"
That is said, I believe Karoline Leavitt sets a bad example for American children who see her as a role model.
